Christmas Dinner

December 25, 2010

Dishes from top left hand corner clockwise: a mountain of mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing (from the turkey), buttercup squash, chocolate amaretto cheesecake, turkey and gravy, steamed broccoli and green beans, cauliflower-bacon gratin. Not shown: garlic knots (again 😦 though they’re technically in that green plastic bowl in the background…)

This is what I served up for Christmas dinner. I’m planning on going more into detail for two of the recipes (in bold) but some were super simple. It turned out really well, and was delicious. I made the cheesecake the night before (thank GOD) and Sean made the garlic knots before hand as well (we actually out them in the oven around 1am on Christmas eve so technically Christmas). We ended up being super hungover for Christmas morning but managed to pull through and make an amazing dinner!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. 🙂
